SIMRAD HS70 GPS COMPASS
The HS70 GPS compass is a smart antenna that provides boaters with highly accurate heading and positioning data. As an alternative to a traditional separate compass and GPS antenna, this combined sensor is maintenance free and incorporates many additional features.
Overview
Ø Heading Sensor
Provides heading data, just like a traditional compass.
Ø GPS
No requirement for a separate GPS antenna - this one delivers an extremely fast fix and excellent in-band and out-of-band interference rejection.
Ø Rate of Turn Sensor
This smart sensor calculates turn rates for precision heading and positioning whilst underway.
Ø Integrated Gyro and Tilt Sensors
Deliver fast start-up times and provide heading updates during temporary loss of GPS. COAS™ technology maintains differentially-corrected positioning for 40 minutes after loss of differential signal.
Ø Compact Design
Measuring just 40cm, the HS70 is easily flush or pole mounted.
Ø SBAS Compatible
WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS etc.
Ø Fully Waterproof
Certified to IEC 60945 standard.
Ø NMEA2000® Connectivity
Connect to an NSS, NSE or NSO navigation system with ease.
Ø Simrad Yachting Construction
Brutally strong and elegantly designed.
